Ukrainian Experts Take Part in TOY for Participation Training in Zagreb

On September 8–10, 2025, a training of trainers on the use of the TOY for Participation tool is taking place in Zagreb, Croatia, organized by the international organization ICDI - International Child Development Initiatives.

Ukraine is represented at the event by Margaryta Kotyash, TOY for Participation project expert and child rights specialist at LHSI, and Olena Chuiko, professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The training brings together 20 experts from across Europe, working to strengthen children’s participation in decision-making processes through play.

The TOY for Participation project in Ukraine is implemented by the NGO Labor and Health Social Initiatives in cooperation with international partners and co-funded by the European Union. Its goal is to create environments where children and young people can express their views and influence decisions that affect their lives.
