LHSI joined the International Step-by-Step Association (ISSA)

Labour and Health Social Initiatives (LHSI) has become a member of the International Association, which brings together professionals and partners to promote the holistic development of young children in Europe and Central Asia — International Step-by-Step Association (ISSA).

ISSA's mission is to operate as a learning community involving leading early childhood experts in Europe and Central Asia. Bring together professionals and partners to equitably deliver high-quality early childhood services. Challenge existing knowledge and practice and co-construct new approaches and models.

The association was established in 1999 in the Netherlands. The ISSA offices are located in a historic building that once functioned as an orphanage. Founded in 1593, it closed its doors as an orphanage in the 1960s. In May 2010, the renovated orphanage reopened as Kinderrechtenhuis Nederland (Children's Rights House, the Netherlands). In addition to ISSA, the building has its own offices and several other organizations that work with and for children and young people.

In September this year, the expert group of the LHSI project "PalyHub in Ukraine" took part in The ISSA Connects For Learning event in Croatia. The Ukrainian expert group presented to colleagues from different countries their own first developments of the "PalyHub in Ukraine" project.

For its part, LHSI in this network expects not only a fruitful exchange of experience, but also cooperation on modern challenges in relation to children.
