Warm stories from the project ‘What you should know about tuberculosis’
The project ‘You Should Know About Tuberculosis’ is implemented by the International Organisation ‘Labor and Health Social Initiatives’ (LHSI) with funding from The Global Fund through the Alliance for Public Health.
This year, our specialists continued to actively identify new cases of tuberculosis (TB/XDR-TB) among vulnerable groups (former prisoners, IDPs) in Donetsk, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi regions and Kyiv.
Project specialists, social workers and medical professionals not only ‘stand guard’ in detecting and organising the examination and treatment of this socially dangerous disease, but also do not stand aside when other assistance is needed.
