Presenting our experience at the national level

During the joint meeting of the Committees on Program Issues and Regional Policy of the National Council on Combating Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS

Director of the NGO Labour and Health Social Initiatives (LHSI) Ilona Yelenieva, Deputy Director of the Center for Social Services for Family, Children and Youth of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Volodymyr Dziumak and expert of the International NGO Labour and Health Social Initiatives (LHSI) Natalia Lukyanova

presented the results of the implementation of algorithms for the interaction of social and medical services in the direction of TB/LTBI detection among clients of social services, including children from their families (Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia regions and the city of Kyiv) and recommendations for further implementation of initiatives in the regions with the involvement of social service centers and their institutions.

The participants of the joint meeting were presented with a brief of the Analysis of the state of implementation of algorithms, and at the request of the participants, additional materials describing the algorithm were sent

A 2017 study describing this model of work (first section) and METHODOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS on the interaction of social and medical services in the context of the implementation of anti-tuberculosis measures in the community for clients of social service centers who belong to high-risk groups for tuberculosis (based on the results of piloting the approach in 2011).
