Personal Data Protection Day

January 28 is the International Day for the Protection of Personal Data.

The volume of information and the use of communication technologies are constantly growing, which, on the one hand, provide us and our children with additional opportunities to exercise their rights, on the other hand, they put us at greater risk of abuse.

First of all, this concerns personal data. Thus, in the project «Empowering Law Enforcement in Overcoming Online Violence against Children», we are actively working on the introduction of modern standards and effective tools in the law enforcement system of Ukraine to protect children in the digital world.

But everyone needs to understand the rules of conduct on the Internet in order to protect themselves and their loved ones from online scams, online violence, etc. So be attentive and knowledgeable!

For example, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the training "Preventing sexual violence against children on the Internet", during which participants got acquainted with the experience of the Netherlands in overcoming the problem of cyberviolence against children.
