A coach is not just a trainer
In October, the LHSI team announced a recruitment of specialists who will become coaches for psychosocial support of youthAnd although the term “coach” still sounds somewhat unfamiliar to Ukraine, especially in the psychosocial field, it is these people who will play one of the key roles in working with youth within the framework of "Mind the Future".
Coaches will undergo certified training under the program Future Room®, which meets EU standards. The cost of such training in Europe is about 3000 євроFor Ukrainian project participants, this includes training, supervision, VR equipment, and licenses. free of charge, thanks to the support of international partners.
After certification, coaches will be able not only to implement VR sessions within the project, but also to use the tools they receive in their daily work at an educational institution, private practice, community center, or medical facility.
For example, school psychologist or social educator After training, he will be able to conduct VR sessions with at-risk adolescent children at school, and outside the project, use the technology in his own practice.
Also family doctor or medical professional, who will receive a VR tool and supervisory support, will be able to implement this technique alongside their usual work with patients.
Thus, the project not only helps young people, but also strengthens specialists, providing them with new European technologies and knowledge.
What does a coach do in a project?

- conduct individual VR sessions with young people aged 12–26;
- help determine educational and career goals, work with emotional barriers, trauma, loss, and fear;
- support the development of personal resilience;
- participate in regular interview and outcome monitoring sessions.
A future that is shaped together
Project "Think about the future" — it's not just about VR or innovation. It's about people who believe that Mental health is not a luxury, but a skill that can be developed.
Coaches are guides who help the youth of Ukraine see their future again, even if its outlines are temporarily blurred by war.
In short, they don't just teach - they help. to breathe deeplywhen it seems like there is not enough air.
