Rapid assessment of barriers faced by explosive ordnance survivors during rehabilitation

"Rapid Assessment of Barriers Faced by Explosive Ordnance Disposal Victims during Rehabilitation" highlights the situation in Ukraine and, in particular, in the Donetsk region based on the results of the study as of November 2023. The study was aimed at studying the general state of assistance to victims, identifying barriers and obstacles in the context of individual groups of victims, analyzing the specifics of barriers to providing assistance during rehabilitation in pilot deoccupied communities of the Donetsk region. Such an assessment is an urgent need to develop the potential of territorial communities to provide social services to people affected by explosive ordnance (EOD), and to promote their recovery, rehabilitation and further reintegration into the community. The publication will be useful to government officials, specialists from central, regional executive bodies and local governments, scientists, representatives of public organizations, service providers and everyone who is interested in the practical aspects of creating a safe inclusive environment for victims of explosive objects in communities.
