Continuation of the webinar series on the prevention of online sexual violence against adolescents

When teenagers are exposed to online violence, they don't always know who to turn to for help. In such cases, it is professionals who work with children and families who often become the first safe point of contact and support.

Within the project "Cybersafegirls – digital safety of Ukrainian girls" A series of educational webinars aimed at preventing online sexual violence against teenage girls who have been victimized continues as a result of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

The project aims to:

  • increasing the level of safety for teenagers on the Internet;

  • supporting gender equality among girls and boys;

  • strengthening the professional capacity of specialists in working with sensitive topics of online violence.

As part of the project implementation, the following is used: Cybersafe Toolkit, an international toolkit adapted to the Ukrainian context, which includes interactive online tools for training and supporting adolescents, including a peer-to-peer counseling approach. The project is being implemented in Vinnytsia and Kharkiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv.

Due to the large number of requests after the previous webinar, we are organizing two additional webinars on the topic of preventing online sexual violence against adolescents for those who were unable to participate before.
