About us

Labor and Health Social Initiatives (LHSI) — a non-governmental international public organization founded in 2002 in Kyiv. We work for sustainable human development, promoting health, protecting the rights and empowering vulnerable groups, as well as ensuring gender equality and a better future.

Our vision

We strive for all people, including children, youth, and vulnerable groups, to have access to quality social and health services, live in a safe and supportive environment, be able to develop their potential, and actively participate in the life of their communities.

Our Mission

It aims to promote sustainable human development by:

  • development of social services for vulnerable categories of citizens;
  • expanding access to public health services;
  • ensuring the development of children, protection of rights and empowerment of youth;
  • promoting gender equality;
  • implementing innovations and increasing capacity in the field of social work, rehabilitation, care and support.
